Get back to me backup!

Do you know the feeling when you can reach your backup server after having it off for a few weeks? I got that feeling today. Last time I switched the machine off was when I took it off after 365 days of uptime and it was time to clean it from dust. Ah yea, I actually made a video about it. Check it out here.

But the issue wasn’t dangerous at all. I just had to take it off my network and plug-in a monitor so I can watch the boot up (server wasn’t connected to the network. (boot failure)

So, I just entered the recovery mode and re-built my grub-loader. And now I can access my backups again.

Puhhh..
