General Rules

1.1 Public Content

H4CK Forums aims to keep all public content suitable for a general audience. Please refrain from posting vulgar, pornographic, or explicit material. This also applies to content shared through spoiler tags or private messages.

1.2 Forum Issues

Problems related to the forum structure, management, or staff should be handled privately with the staff team. These issues should not be made into public discussions and must instead be reported through a ticket using the appropriate category.

1.3 Contacting Administration

Members may contact the administration team by creating a ticket under the Forum Issues category. Please note that response times may vary due to the limited number of administrators. Some staff members may also accept private messages.

1.4 English\Swedish Only

H4CK Forums is an English\Swedish-speaking community. Please avoid creating threads or posts in other languages.

1.5 Mini-Moderating

Mini-moderating is not tolerated. This includes comments such as “Reported,” “Wrong section,” or similar replies on rule-breaking posts. Instead, report the content and allow the staff team to handle the situation.

1.6 Rule Enforcement

These rules apply forum-wide at all times. Violations may result in warnings, infractions, suspensions, or permanent bans.

1.7 Section Guidelines

Some sections and sub-sections may contain additional rules or guidelines. Always read pinned threads and section rules before posting.

1.8 Report System Abuse

Reports must be based on valid rule violations. Abuse of the report system, including false or unreasonable reports, may result in punishment.

1.9 One Account Policy

We enforce a strict one account policy to protect the safety and fairness of the community. Creating additional accounts may result in a ban. If you lose access to your account, please use the Contact Us page for assistance.

Posting Guidelines

2.1 Respectful Posting

All thread titles, descriptions, and replies should remain respectful and appropriate.

2.2 Respect Other Members

All members must treat each other with respect. Disrespectful behavior, flaming, or harassment towards members or staff is strictly prohibited.

2.3 Prohibited Content

Posts, topics, and replies must not contain:

• Flaming or disrespect toward members or staff
• Sexual harassment
• One-line responses such as “+1” or “lol”
• Attempts to bypass the word filter
• Begging for likes or reactions
• Advertising illegal or prohibited activities
• Racism, sexism, or hate speech
• Excessive text spam (e.g. “LOOOOOOOL”)
• Selling or trading prohibited digital content
• Directing members offsite for illegal activities
• Nudity or explicit material
• Referral links from websites or forums

2.4 Provoking Members

Flaming, provoking, or harassing members through public posts or private messages is not tolerated and may lead to warnings or further punishment.

2.5 External Disputes

H4CK Forums is not responsible for disputes, arguments, or incidents that occur outside of the forum.

2.6 Readable Posts

We encourage members to make clear and readable posts. Mocking or insulting others because of grammar or language skills is not allowed.

2.7 Malicious Content

Posts or private messages containing malicious, harmful, or threatening content may result in punishment depending on the severity and context.

2.8 Personal Information & Impersonation

Sharing personal information (“doxxing”), impersonating others, distributing illegal content, or selling confidential information is strictly prohibited. This rule also applies to private messages.

2.9 Excessive Quoting

Please avoid quoting large amounts of text, media, or images unnecessarily. Only quote the relevant part needed for your response. Use @username mentions when appropriate.

2.10 Bumping Threads

Bumping your own thread to gain visibility over others is not allowed. However, replying to older threads with relevant information is permitted.

Bumping is only allowed every 48 hours in B/S/T sections or other sections where explicitly permitted by local guidelines. Repeated abuse may result in thread removal.

2.11 Double Posting

Avoid double posting. If you need to add information, please use the edit button.

2.12 Off-Topic Replies

Derailing discussions by posting off-topic content is considered a rule violation and may result in warnings or further punishment.

2.13 Requesting Pinned Threads

Do not ask for threads to be pinned. Pinning decisions are made solely by the staff team based on the quality and usefulness of the content.

2.14 Section-Specific Rules

Before posting, make sure to read the rules specific to that section. Failure to follow section rules may result in warnings or bans.

2.15 Rating System Abuse

Abuse of the rating or reaction system may result in a warning and temporary removal of rating privileges for up to three months.

Spam & Advertising

3.1 Advertising

Advertising is not allowed in public content such as profiles, signatures, avatars, posts, or replies without approval from the administration team.

Referral links are also prohibited. To request advertising approval, create a ticket under the Admin Issues category.

3.2 Excessive Advertising

Mass advertising or repeated spam advertisements may result in an immediate ban without warning.

3.3 Post Farming

Excessive posting solely to increase post count is prohibited and may lead to warnings or punishment.

3.4 Spam Posts

Spam posts include, but are not limited to:

• One-line replies such as “+1,” “lol,” or “first”
• Meme replies such as “cool story bro”
• Emoji-only or reaction-only responses

These rules are enforced across all discussion forums except designated casual sections such as The Funhouse.

3.5 Duplicate Topics

Posting the same topic multiple times is prohibited and may result in topic deletion, warnings, or further punishment.

Private Messages

4.1 Rules Apply to Private Messages

Forum rules also apply to private messages. Violations reported to staff may lead to disciplinary action.

4.2 Staff Messages

Messages from staff may contain important warnings or instructions. It is the responsibility of the user to read and respond appropriately.

Final Guidelines

5.1 Agreement to Rules

By registering on H4CK Forums, you automatically agree to follow all forum rules and section-specific guidelines.

5.2 Rule Changes

Rules may be updated at any time. Members will be notified of major changes through announcements. All changes take effect immediately upon posting.

5.3 External Spam

We do not encourage users to spam or advertise H4CK Forums on other websites. If you are affected by such activity, please contact the administration team.

5.4 Trading & Scams

H4CK Forums is not responsible for scams, trades, or transactions conducted outside the website. Any off-site activity is done at your own risk.

If you are scammed through activity related to the forum, provide valid proof and create a ticket under the General category. Staff may assist depending on the situation.

5.5 Staff Positions & Premium Content

Do not request staff positions, premium access, or exclusive ranks. Leaking premium or confidential content may result in suspension, permanent bans, or removal of access without refund.

5.6 Content License

By posting content on H4CK Forums, you grant us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, and unlimited license to use, publish, or republish your content in connection with the service. You retain ownership and copyright of your content.
