Anyone remember the Turbotouch 360? It was a cheap 3rd party game pad for Sega and Nintendo consoles of the early ’90s. While there were plenty of controllers that fit that description, the Turbotouch 360 stands out due to it’s touch pad gimmick and ridiculous advertising.

I picked up the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version of the TT360 at my local Goodwill for $3.99 about ten years ago. I never really used it much, because quite frankly, it’s horrendous. That hasn’t stopped me from running an experiment to see if this relic can live up to the borderline absurd marketing claims made by it’s manufacturer, Triax.
